Rachel is a sex goddess.. thats all unfortunately. She does not play any instruments at all. She also doesn't even co-write her songs. I hate to say it but I really think Rachel needs to sing live and co-write because knowing the UK market... the sex appeal hype will die down and thats not good. She needs to have something other than the "sex" going for her because that will fade away. I love Rachel and I just hope she starts showing her great vocal talent by singing live and I also hope she starts writing some tunes!

im glad she's taking the initiative to write music. that actually shows a lot in an artist. lets hope theyre good songs.
yes, she definitely CAN sing live. she proved that when she sang "i really miss you", "natural", and "show me your colors" live... she really has an awesome live voice! i just hate it that she keeps miming. maybe if she released HHTW as her next single she'll sing it live cos it's slow.. easy to sing.. and she isnt dancing!

i heard that too. but he's so slefish. but even still, how do they explain live acts like Gareth Gates who sings live a lot and Will Young who does and Kelly Clarkson who ALWAYS sings live! I dont think it's fully Simon Fuller's fault. Ithink if rach wanted to she could have it aranged on TOTP or some popular show.

Most artists don't sing live on TV because the quality comes out horrible while being taped and replayed. Some artists choose to sing live when a show goes live itself, but for the most part, artists choose to lip-sync.
Will Young, Gareth Gates, and Kelly Clarkson have all lip-synced during performances before. Sometimes, it is difficult to tell whether an artist is doing so or not, even if the track sounds exactly like an album or single cut.
I do agree; she needs to sing live. Mainly to prove her credibility against what critics think and to show her fans that she's more than just a pretty face.

I know we've talked about this before, and I'm not much of a Christina fan, but I'll give her credit: She ALWAYS sings live with that amazing voice of hers.
