Still no news on Jo's upcoming CD, so I did a msn search on Jo and Richard Carpenter who she was said to be working with before. The funny thing was that there was talk about Richard Carpenter already in 2001, but the result turned out to concern Petula Clark. In october 2001 she performed in the UK and she was
"surrounded by the hottest British pop acts of our day...some may not be known in America, but they are all household names to any teenager in the UK and Europe... bands like Steps, S Club 7, Damage and A1, are all current chart acts."
At the same time the media did some interviews. Jo said:
"I love Petula Clark and can't wait to meet her. You meet loads of people in this business, but I still get really excited about meeting performers like her. You've got to admire people who have been in the business for years and years. People like Petula and Elton John have really shown they can go the distance."
Petula Clark said:
"There is a new CD which I am preparing for the end of the year. I am doing some stuff with Richard Carpenter in 'L. A.' at the beginning of the year. And then we have this big tour coming up next year in the States."
It might be some connection there. Anyway if Jo is still with Carpenter I think it's a good choice of song writer.

[glow=red,2,300]I am suprised we haven't heard much about Jo's new album. Hopefully it'll be out soon! It's especially cool since she's supposedly coming to America ;D[/glow]

Yeah that's cool if she will be coming to the States. The only news was some magazine that said Jo was one to look out for this year and a relative who said the first single will be lovely.

Hey you got me all excited when I read the title, lol... I REALLY hope she does come here!! But I'm actually kind of glad that it's taken her a long time to get her album out because "the longer it takes the better it will be" to quote Alicia Keys and Alicia definitely knows how to make a good album! It takes about 8 months to produce a good album and one that you have a lot of say in. Omg, what if she does come here??
